Alphonse Mucha achieved his fame as a leading artist of the Art Nouveau movement
in Paris, specialising in portraits of elegant young women enhanced with delicate
floral motifs.
Following extensive research Stovax have selected three portraits and recreated them
as ceramic tile panels. They have been lengthened to the 5 tiles necessary for
Victorian fireplaces with the addition of matching floral tiles at the top and bottom.
These are also available singly.
To preserve the symmetry of the fireplace, there are mirror images of the original
paintings. The background colour to the decoration is Victorian glaze.
