Art Deco Design

Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) achieved his fame as a leading artist of the art nouveau movement. He specialised in portraits of elegant young women enhanced with delicate floral motifs.

To complement our Art Deco fireplaces, we have selected three such portraits and recreated them as ceramic tile panels. The tile panels are available with matching floral tiles at the top and bottom, the latter also being available singly.

To preserve the symmetry of the fireplace, there are mirror images of the original paintings. The background colour to the decoration is Victorian Cream Glaze and floral hearth tiles to match these sets are also available.
